Terms and Conditions

1.     Introduction

1.1   This advertisers agreement (the Agreement) is made between Shire enterprises ltd. (Shire enterprises ltd, we) and the Advertiser (you).

1.2   By entering into this agreement you are confirming you have read these terms and conditions and agree to them.

1.3   You agree to Shire enterprises ltd publishing your advert details on our web site and the web sites of our partners.

2.     Your Responsibilities

2.1   You should ensure you have the legal right to sell the property.

2.2   The description you supply is true and accurate and not misleading. Shire enterprises ltd does not take any responsibility for the accuracy of the information supplied and cannot be held liable.

2.3   You will pay the full advert fee before the advert is published.

2.4   You have obtained permission from the owner of any photographs used in the advert Shire enterprises ltd will not be held liable for breach of copyright.

2.5   If you have a contract with an Estate Agent, you have independently checked your contract with regards to terms and conditions that you must pay the Estate Agents commission. If later it is found that you are legally bound to pay the Estate Agents commission Shire enterprises ltd will not be liable.

2.6   Only one property may appear in each advert.

2.7   You will assemble the For Sale board complying with the local planning authority regulations, being fully and unconditionally liable and responsible for how it is used and disposed of.                                                                                        

2.8   Shire enterprises ltd accept no responsibility or liability for checking or amending the clients advertising content. The Advertiser must thoroughly check that their advert is correct, accurate, complete, and does not contain any errors, mistakes or omissions in respect advertising content.

2.9   You will set your own selling price.

2.10 You will arrange and conduct viewings for the advertised property, unless Platinum service requested.

2.11 You will inform Shire enterprises ltd once the advertised property is sold.

3.     Shire enterprises ltd   Responsibility

3.1 We will supply and erect a For Sale board when requested, within 10 working days, For Gold or Platinum service only, within a reasonable distance within Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire geographic areas or other geographic area's at our discretion.

3.1 We will supply only a For Sale board with our Nationwide service within 10 working days.

3.2  We will re-advertise your property on our partner’s websites.

3.3 Shire enterprises ltd endeavour to advertise the Advertisers material but reserve all rights to, Stop, Delete or Remove the advert at their discretion without giving prior Notice, to or receiving consent from the Advertiser. 

3.4   The most likely (but not limited to) reasons for Shire enterprises ltd doing the above: The advertising content breaching one of our associates terms and conditions or the, or the advertising content breaching any law or regulation, or the advertising content being obscene and blasphemous, or the content infringing any: trademarks, copyrights or intellectual property of a third party.

3.5   We will, to the best of our efforts, ensure that the www. Shire-homes .com web site is available at all times. We reserve the right to take the site off-line without prior notice for essential maintenance and upgrades.

4.Refunds.

4.1 You may cancel this contract by informing Shire enterprises ltd in writing or email within 24 hours of placing your advert.

4.2 No refunds will be made after 24 hours or after you have received an enquiry in your account, whichever is first.

4.3 Under no circumstances will our liability exceed the value of advertising fee received.

4.6   For our Platinum service no refunds are given after a home visit.
